*** HARSH BUNGER, J. (Oral) This petition has been filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondent No.4 to finalize the proposal of allotment dated 29.06.2022 (Annexure P-12).

Learned State counsel on instructions from Mr. Ramesh Chand, Tehsildar (Sales), Panchkula, submits that the matter as regards the proposal of allotment is pending consideration before respondent No.4 (Tehsildar (Sales)-cum-Managing Officer, Panchkula) and he would take decision either way within a period of four weeks from today. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, keeping in view the aforesaid submissions made by learned State counsel, submits that he does not intend to press the instant writ petition any further, at this stage. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 (Tehsildar (Sales)-cum-Managing Officer, Panchkula) to consider and render a final decision on the proposal of allotment within a period of four weeks from today.
