KRISHNA MURARI, C.J. (ORAL) Case called out. No one has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioners to press this petition. However, with the aid of learned counsel appearing for the respondents we have gone through the pleadings. This petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "i.

For the issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari and thereby set aside the certificates issued as allotment come possession certificates on dated: 08/09/2017, Annexure P-7, and also all certificates of such nature allotting Chambers on dated: 08/09/2017,

despite the fact that the notice for allotment of Chambers dated: 06/09/2017, Annexure P-6, had clearly stated that the process for allotment of Chambers would be conducted on dated: 09/09/2017 and furthermore, the allotment or collection of money could not have been done by the respondent No. 5 through the respondent No. 6 and 7, despite the fact that there are no rules for allotment or collection of money as the rules, annexure P-3, which had been framed by respondent No. 6 were set aside by the report dated: 23/09/2016, Annexure P-4, prepared by the Additional District and Sessions Judge, SAS Nagar;

ii.

For further order or direction and thereby directing the respondents no. 2 to hold a draw of lots after rules have been framed and after a completion certificate had been issued and the list of eligible members is duly prepared, those eligible who could be allotted the Chambers at District Courts Complex, Sector 76, Mohali;"

We are informed by the learned counsel representing the respondents that the construction of the entire Judicial Court Complex as well as the Lawyers Chambers at Mohali is complete and possession thereof has already been delivered long back and it is fully functional.

In these circumstances we are of the considered opinion that the petition at hands is rendered infructuous by afflux of time and accordingly stands dismissed as such.
