* * * * As desired by the appellant, learned representative of the Insurance Company has handed over two cheques; one in the sum of `1,63,834/- (Rupees One Lac Sixty Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty Four Only) bearing No.454876 and the other in the sum of `26,166/- (Rupees Twenty Six Thousand One Hundred Sixty Six Only) bearing No.454877, favouring Lakhmi Chand S/o Sh. Chanderbhan in full & final settlement of the claim of the appellant. The cheques are handed over to the learned counsel for the appellant. The appeal, thus, stands disposed of as settled. Copies of the cheques bearing signatures of learned counsel for the appellant be retained on the file.
