Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents not to finalize the implementation of "Online Building Plan Approval System" in the municipal towns of the State of Punjab by the Department of Local Government, Punjab.

Petitioner No.2, who is arguing the case in person, contended that for this grievance, legal notice dated 03.08.2018 (Annexure P9) has already been got issued by petitioner No.1-Council of Engineers to the Government and the same be looked into and decided. In view of above, present writ petition stands disposed of with the directions to the respondents to look into the legal notice dated 03.08.2018 (Annexure P9) and take required action, if any, thereon expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
