(ORAL) The only prayer made by the petitioner in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondent - University to consider and take a decision on his representation dated 20.07.2023 (Annexure P-15), wherein he has sought admission to the B.A.LL.B. (Honours) 05 years Integrated Course under the BC-A category.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent-authorities to consider and take a decision on his representation. It is, however, made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and, therefore, the authorities would be at liberty to examine the matter keeping all facts and facets into consideration and thereafter take a decision in accordance with law. It is further made clear that as the order has been passed ex-parte, the authorities would be obliged to consider the representation only in case a certified copy of the order alongwith the writ petition is furnished to them by the petitioner.
