Mr. V. K. Shukla, Advocate, for the petitioners.

 ;

*** AMAN CHAUDHARY, J. (Oral) 1.

Prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the order dated 26.06.2020, Annexure P-5, whereby the claim of the petitioners for counting their service rendered by them as Supervisors in Adult Education Scheme towards pay protection has been declined without taking into consideration the similar benefit granted to Darshan Singh and others also working as S.S. Masters in CWP-7478 of 2009, titled as Darshan Singh and others versus State of Punjab and others, decided on 31.01.2011 and had also rendered service in Adult Education Scheme prior to joining in the Education Department on 13.02.2012. 2.

The aforesaid facts having been brought out, during the course of hearing, learned State counsel, on instructions, states that the respondents would not be averse to have a relook at the matter and decided afresh within a period of 04 months, taking note of the aforesaid judgment, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. 3.

The aforesaid satisfies the learned counsel for the petitioners. DINESH 2025.01.30 22:09 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-18896-2020 (O&M) -24.

The matter stands disposed of accordingly with a direction to the respondent to reconsider and decide the claim of the petitioners within a period of four months in the light of the aforesaid judgment and if the petitioners are found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to their interest, the same may be passed after granting opportunity of hearing to him and shall contain reasons, whereupon they shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
