(Oral) The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 for grant of pre-arrest bail in case bearing FIR No. 0041 dated 09.03.2026 registered under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 190, 191(3), 326(g), 324(2) of the BNS, 2023 (Section 118(2), 331(6) of the BNS, 2023 added later on) registered at Police Station Kotbhai, District Shri Muktsar Sahib.

Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner contends that the petitioner had been called to join investigation in the above mentioned FIR whereupon he moved an application for grant of anticipatory bail. Learned State Counsel contends that the petitioner is only required for the investigation purpose of the present case and he is not nominated as an accused so far. He undertakes that, in the event custodial detention of the petitioner would be required, they would serve an advance notice to the petitioner at least three working days prior to such detention. 4.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of at this stage being pre-mature.

Needless to mention that in the event his custodial interrogation is required, the respondent shall serve an advance notice to the petitioner of at least three working days.
