***** JASPAL SINGH, J By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to allow the benefit of stepping up pay at par with his junior counterpart of reserved category Mr. Hawa Singh in terms of instructions Annexures P-1 to P-3 and grant all consequential benefits like revised pension, pensionary benefits and grant arrears of pay, pension, pensionary benefits with interest.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent No.1 to decide legal notice dated 05.12.2017 (Annexure P-12), within a stipulated period. 3.
Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.1-Managing Director, UHBVN Ltd. However, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved against any of the order(s) passed by the concerned authority, he shall be at liberty to approach this Court.
