Mr. Sumeet Goel, Advocate for respondent No.3/CBI. ***** MAHABIR SINGH SINDHU, J Present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of order dated 22.01.2020 (P-9) passed by learned Special Judge, CBI Court, Chandigarh, whereby application submitted by the petitioner for granting permission/NOC for issuance of a new passport to the petitioner in Case bearing NO.RCCHG2017A0011 dated 05.05.2017 under Section 120-B IPC and 7, 13(1) (d) read with Section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, has been rejected. At the outset, it has been pointed out by learned counsel for the petitioner that in terms of order dated 12.01.2021, passport has already been prepared and handed over to the petitioner.
