MEENAKSHI I. MEHTA, J. (Oral) By way of the instant petition, the petitioner has made 2nd attempt to seek the relief of regular bail in the criminal case arisen out of FIR No.433 dated 25.09.2020 as registered at Police Station Kharkhoda, District Sonipat, under Sections 148, 149, 120-B and 307 read with Section 34 IPC as well as Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, 1959 (wherein the Final Report is stated to have been submitted under Section 307 read with Section 34 IPC and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act). 2.

CRM-M No.40604 of 2022 -22024:PHHC:001758 3.

However, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press for the relief of regular bail at this stage and rather, he restricts his prayer to the issuance of direction to the trial Court to expedite the trial proceedings and to decide the above-said criminal case within some specific time-frame. 4.

Learned State counsel (assisted by learned counsel for the complainant) has no objection for the same.

5.

Keeping in view the afore-discussed limited prayer as made by learned counsel for the petitioner and also the fact that the petitioner is behind the bars since 17.12.2020 and without commenting or expressing any opinion on the merits of the criminal case under reference, the petition in hand is, hereby, disposed of with direction to the concerned trial Court to conclude the trial proceedings and decide the same, in accordance with law, up to 29.02.2024.
