The petitioners has been seeking quashing of the Complaint bearing No.COMA/195/2023, dated 11.05.2023 titled as "Kulwinder Kaur Vs. Arshdeep Singh" pending in the Court learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Sangrur and the order dated 12.05.2023 passed in above said petition whereby notice was ordered to be issued to the present petitioners despite the fact that neither any preliminary evidence had been led by the complainant nor any order for summoning the respondents as accused had been passed. However, today learned counsel for the petitioners has placed on record the copy of the order dated 17.08.2023 whereby, while rectifying its mistake, the learned trial Court has adjourned the case for recording preliminary evidence of the respondent-complainant. 3.

As such, the present petition is disposed off as having been rendered infructuous being premature. The petitioners, shall, however be at liberty to file a fresh petition qua the compliant filed by the respondent in future, if the need so arises.
