Rajesh Bhardwaj, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the present filed in under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction, directing the respondents to provide adequate effective and continuous police protection to the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members at his residence and business premises. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that for the redressal of his grievance, the petitioner has already filed representation dated 22.05.2026 (Annexure P-4) before respondent No.2, however, no action has been taken thereon till date.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties, present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 i.e. Senior Superintendent of Police, District Khanna, to decide the representation, if any, filed by the petitioner within a period of one week from today before him, within a period of four weeks from its filing, in accordance with law.
