(ORAL) Prayer in this writ petition filed in the nature of Public Interest Litigation under Articles 226/227 is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned order dated 17.11.2015 (Annexure P5) passed by respondent No.2 and also for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for directions to the respondents to enquire into the mismanagement of panchayat lands as the same are being misused for the illegal benefit of respondent No.8.

Learned State counsel has produced Punjabi version along with
-2CWP No.26953 of 2015 true translation of order dated 08.11.2016 issued by the Secretary, Punjab Government, Rural Development & Panchayat Department vide which the sanction dated 17.11.2015 given by the Financial Commissioner, Rural Development & Panchayat Department for sale of 79 acre 5 kanal 10 marlas of land has been withdrawn. Copy of the Punjabi version of the aforesaid order along with its true translation is taken on record. 3.
In view of above, present writ petition has been rendered infructuous and the same is disposed of as such. 4.
In view of the disposal of main petition as infructuous, no further orders are required to be passed on civil miscellaneous applications and the same are also disposed of as such.
