***** JASPAL SINGH, J By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to release the remaining retirement-cumservice benefits of the deceased mother of the petitioner, such as gratuity, leave encashment, DA installments, arrears of revised pay scale of 01.01.2006 and all other benefits along with interest for delayed period and for which a legal notice dated 19.03.2018 (P-3) has also been served.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent No. 4 to decide legal notice dated 19.03.2018 (P-3) duly served upon the respondent(s), in a time bound manner.

However, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved against any of the order passed by the concerned authority, he shall be at liberty to approach this Court as well as to have recourse to the other remedies available under law.
