The petitioner is working as a Caretaker in Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. His grievance is that one Shri Narender Kumar Tyagi, who is also working as an adhoc Caretaker in the University Canteen is getting pay scale of `9300-34800+3200 Grade Pay, whereas, the petitioner has been placed in the pay scale of `5000-7850.

The petitioner has repeatedly represented to the respondent to remove this anomaly in fixation of pay scales (Annexure P-3).

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.3 to take a decision on his claim as contained in the legal notice dated 01.09.2015 (Annexure P-6). Accordingly, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to take a decision on the claim of the petitioner as
