By way of filing the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., petitioners Jasbir Singh and Sulakhan Singh, residents of Dinanagar, District Gurdaspur, pray for issuance of a direction to SSP, Gurdaspur and SHO, Police Station Behrampur, District Gurdaspur, to take appropriate legal action against private respondents No. 4 to 17, regarding the grievances raised by them in their initial representation dated 13.3.2020 ( Annexure P-2), followed by reminders dated 10.6.2020 (Annexure P-3) and 20.8.2020 (Annexure P-4), contending that such private respondents have BANITA CHUGH 2020.11.10 11:42 I agree to specified portions of this document
CRM-M- 36983 of 2020 -2defrauded the petitioners of a huge sum of Rs.1,70,00,000/-, by giving allurement to them to invest their money in the schemes floated by them, under the name and style of 'M/s Kim Infrastructure and Developers Limited'.
Notice of motion to officials respondents no. 1 to 3. At this stage, Mr. J.S. Ghuman, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, has accepted notice on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the official respondents to decide their representation in a time bound manner. Learned State counsel states that such respondents would abide by any such direction issued by the Court. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of directing official respondent No.2 - SSP Gurdaspur, to look into the grievances of the petitioners as contained in their representation dated 13.3.2020 ( Annexure P-2), followed by reminders dated 10.6.2020 ( Annexure P-3) and dated 20.8.
