*** JASWANT SINGH, J. (ORAL The petitioner is stated to have been employed as Volunteer Home Guard under the Punjab Home Guards, District Ferozepur. He had attained the age of superannuation of 58 years and stood retired w.e.f. 31.12.2014.

The grievance of the petitioner is that his date of birth was wrongly recorded as 01.01.1957 in the records of the Department whereas his correct date of birth is of the year 1963 as per the Aadhar Card. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition.
