The petitioners had been working as Lab Assistants in the respondent No.3 College, which is a Government aided private college at Rewari. Their claim is that they are entitled to the pay scales as admissible to their counterparts in Government colleges. Learned counsel for the petitioners state that their claim is fully covered in terms of the decision of this Court in CWP No.5492 of 1997, titled Gurcharan Singh and others vs. State of Haryana and others (Annexure P-8). The petitioners have filed representation to the respondents and raised the aforesaid claim vide Annexure P-9 but no decision therein was taken.

Learned counsel for the petitioners state that at this stage, the petitioners would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to take a decision on the claim of the petitioners which is covered by the decision of this Court in CWP No.5492 of 1997 (Annexure P-8).

CWP-27114-2015 -2Accordingly, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to take a decision on the claim of the petitioners taking note of the decision of this Court in CWP No.5492 of 1997 (Annexure P-8) expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
