The prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to consider the petitioner under General Category instead of BCB ESM Category in the revised final list.

Learned counsel would contend that petitioner had though applied under the BCB ESM category and secured more marks than the last selected candidate under General category and in terms of instructions dated 09.03.2022, Annexure P-11, seeks consideration in the said category with regard to which, a representation dated 06.06.2024, Annexure P-7, followed by a reminder dated 03.07.2024, Annexure P-8, have been submitted, which have yet not evoked any response. He thus, at this stage, on instructions, from the petitioner, prays that a direction be given to respondent No.2 to decide the same in a time bound manner.
