This petition has been filed Criminal Writ Petition Under articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of direction to the respondents to provide and continue adequate police protection to the petitioners and his family members in view of the grave, imminent and continuing threat to their life and personal liberty, as evidenced by FIR No. 0187 dated 05.05.2026 (Annexure P-8), P.S. Sadar Kharar, SAS Nagar, under sections 115(2), 118(1), 126(2), 351(2), 191(3), 190 and 304 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (earlier sections 323, 324, 341, 506, 148 and 149 of IPC respectively) with a further direction to the respondents to conduct a fresh and comprehensive that perception analysis in respect of the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners have preferred a representation-Annexure P-10 to respondent No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar Sector 76 Mohali Punjab but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar Sector 76 Mohali Punjab to look into his representation and take appropriate steps at the earliest. 3.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 6.
Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the prayer made by the petitioners, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar Sector 76 Mohali Punjab to consider and decide the representation-Annexure P-10 of the petitioners in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
