CWP-27220-2015 The only argument raised is that there is no proof of sale of Raddi, which was the substratum of the charge levelled against the petitioner, is removal of Board property without due authorization. The counsel for the petitioner draws attention of this Court to the statements made by Smt. Mohinder Kaur and Smt. Jaswinder Kaur both Senior Assistants in the Field Office at Roopnagar. Smt. Mohinder Kaur stated that she had handed over the charge of Store to the petitioner on 01.04.2011. She deposed on 15.07.2011 that she saw the Raddi paper lying in the corner of a room in the Field Office at Roopnagar which went missing on 18.07.2011. CWP-27220-2015 -2innocence. Therefore, the argument that there was no sale deserves to be rejected. Removal of Raddi is bad enough. In any case, the petitioner has been imposed a minor punishment of stoppage of one increment without cumulative effect causing no financial loss except postponing the increment by one year. The charge has been proven at a regular inquiry and this Court does not sit in appeal over the findings arrived at in the inquiry proceedings. Neither would it disturb the punishment imposed which is not disproportionate to the cause. Therefore, no ground for interference is made out.

The petition is dismissed.
