*** Daya Chaudhary, J. (Oral) At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the daily wage service of the petitioner rendered before the date of regularization has not been considered whereas the same has been considered in case of other similarly situated persons. The controversy in case at hand is squarely covered by the decisions rendered by this Court in CWP No.2371 of 2010 titled as Harbans Lal vs. The State of Punjab and others decided on 31.08.2010 (Annexure P-4), CWP No.3250 of 2014 titled as Baldev Singh and another vs. State of Punjab and others, decided on 14.07.2014 (Annexure P-5), CWP No.23606 of 2012 titled as Suresh Kumar and others vs. State of Punjab and others decided on 10.10.2014 (Annexure P-6) and CWP No.24472 of 2015 titled as Constable Rajesh Kumar and others vs.
State of Punjab and another decided on 07.01.2016 (Annexure P-7). The petitioner would be satisfied in case, directions are issued by this Court to consider the case of the petitioner in view of Neetu Rani 2016.12.
CWP No.26307 of 2016 aforesaid judgments (Annexures P-4 to P-7).
Keeping in view the limited prayer of the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to take action on the legal notice dated 19.07.2016 (Annexure P-8) in view of decisions rendered in aforesaid cases (Annexures P-4 to P-7) within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. In case the petitioner is found to be entitled, the necessary relief be granted to him within two months thereafter.
Disposed of accordingly.
