 This petition has been filed as a Public Interest Litigation raising the public cause that villagers of the area in question do not have access by way of "cut" in the national highway between villages Lalle & Haraj near Talwandi Bhai town of District Ferozepur.

Though the petitioner has disclosed in paragraph-11 of the petition that he had approached this Court earlier for the same relief in Civil Writ Petition-PIL No. 204 of 2020 and the same was disposed of on 22.01.2021 with a direction to the authorities that their representation be decided by a detailed order but the petitioners have failed to disclose the fact as revealed by learned counsel for the National Highways Authority of India that the petitioners had filed a similar Civil Writ Petition (PIL) No. 15 of 2023 which was also dismissed on-merits on 21.02.2023 in regard to the same grievance.

It is thus vivid that this petition suffers from suppression of material facts.

At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the petition.

In view of the prayer made, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn with costs of Rs.5000/- to be deposited with the Institute of Blind, Sector 26, Chandigarh.
