The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of Certiorari or any the writ order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the circumstances of the case quashing the order dated 16.09.2009 attached as (Annexure P-4), 24.08.2021 (Annexure P-5 and 08.07.2025 (Annexure P-7) whereby the claim of the Petitioner for the grant of proficiency step up w.e.f. 08.11.2001 on completion of 8 years service in the cadre of Naib Tehsildar has been rejected illegally without considering the points raised by the Petitioner during the course of personal hearing and also without taking into consideration the judicial pronouncements MEENU 2026.07.02 13:05 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-18542-2026 -2cited by the petitioner and also not treating the down graded ACRs as 'Very Good' /'Good' which were down- graded arbitrarily without assigning any reason and affording any opportunity to the petitioner, misinterpreting Punjab Government instructions dated 10.01.2000 (Annexure P-2) and dated 16.01.2001 and (Annexure P-3) with an object to deny the benefit of proficiency step up to the petitioner.

After arguing at length, learned Senior Advocate appearing for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition. 3.

Prayer is accepted.

However, the petitioner would be at liberty to assail the ACRs for the years 1993-94, 1994-95, 1995-96, 1996-97, 1997-98, 1998-99, 1999-2000, 200001, 2001-02, 2002-03, 2003-04, 2004-05, and 2005-06, wherein either the same are not traceable in the service file of the petitioner or have been downgraded from "Very Good" to "Average", without giving an opportunity of hearing, as contended before this Court by the learned Senior Advocate. Only thereafter the petitioner seek the reliefs as prayed for in the instant petition. 5.
