Present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to grant benefit of counting military service w.e.f. 08.08.1969 to 08.08.1974 rendered by the petitioner under respondent No.3. The respondents have not granted the said benefits. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner has already got issued legal notice dated 22.03.2018 (Annexure P9), but the same has not been looked into and decided so far. Learned counsel further contended that the case of petitioner is, otherwise, covered by the ratio of judgments rendered by the Hon'ble Apex Court in Asger Ibrahim Amin v. Life Insurance Corporation of India 2015(4) S.C.T. 695 and Union of India and Another v. Sudarshan Kumar Kathpal & Others (SLP(C) No. 12028 of 2009, decided on 14.02.2014).
