CORAM:HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMIT RAWAL -.- AMIT RAWAL J. (ORAL) The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner in the light of the directions given by the Financial Commissioner (Revenue) dated 30.05.2007.

The petitioner's father was allotted with part of the land measuring 1850 kanals 2 marlas which was declared surplus along with other eligible landless persons. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite following up a trail of litigation, ultimately concluding in his favour, the Prescribed Authority has not initiated any action for allotment of the land in his favour. In fact, first installment has also been deposited by the father of the petitioner. In this regard, he has submitted a representation dated 12.01.2013 (Annexure P-18) to respondent No.4 but no action has been taken so far.

He has also drawn attention of this Court to the order passed by the Financial Commissioner (Revenue) dated 30.05.2007 upheld by this Court vide order dated 10.09.2009 and submits that he will be satisfied if the representation dated 12.01.2013 (Annexure P-18) submitted by the PANKAJ KUMAR 2017.01.18 14:30 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP No.228 of 2017 -2petitioner is decided by respondent No.4 within a time bound manner. Without going into the merits and de-merits of the claim of the petitioner, I direct the 4th respondent to consider the representation vide Annexure P-18 submitted by the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order and shall pass a speaking order thereon in accordance with law.
