Virender Singh v. State Of Haryana And Others
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH
CWP No.19187 of 2020 (O&M) Date of decision : 10.02.2021 Virender Singh ......Petitioner Vs.
State of Haryana and Others ......Respondents Coram: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJBIR SEHRAWAT --- Present :
Mr. Shalender Mohan, Advocate for the petitioner. Ms. Deipa Singh, Addl. AG, Haryana.
--- Rajbir Sehrawat, J. (Oral) This petition is filed for quashing of the impugned order dated 14.10.2020 (Annexure P-11) passed by respondent No.5, vide which the agreement of service of the petitioner has not been extended without any reason which is totally wrong and illegal and against the Government instructions as well as against the principle of natural justice, which is liable to be set aside.
At the very outset, the counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the contract of service of the petitioner has since been extended by the respondents. Hence, the present petition has been rendered infructuous. Even the counsel for the State has not disputed the fact that the State has extended the service contract of the petitioner on the basis of availability of work and the necessary funds. In view of the above, the present petition has been rendered infructuous and is dismissed as such.
