It is submitted that petitioner has prayed for extension in service in terms of notifications dated 27.02.2013 (Annexure P1) and dated 30.10.2015 (Annexure P2). When no action was taken, he submitted representation dated 05.11.2015, Annexure P3. It is contended that there is no impediment to grant of extension in service to the petitioner, who is due to superannuate on 31.12.2015. At this stage, it is prayed that respondents be directed to decide petitioner's representation dated 05.11.2015 Annexure P3, in a time bound manner.

CWP No.27440 of 2015 [2] Keeping in view the limited prayer addressed, facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the controversy or eligibility of the petitioner for extension in service, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to expeditiously decide representation dated 05.11.2015 Annexure P3, by passing a speaking order, preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
