This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to provide complete details of the amount of compensation paid, cost of the development and the actual expenses incurred in developing the sites of the petitioner-Societies. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that inadvertently, specific prayers could not be made in the present writ petition. Accordingly, a request has been made that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition, with liberty to file fresh one on the same cause of action by making complete and comprehensive prayers and after furnishing better particulars.
