(ORAL) The petitioners have approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari setting aside the impugned order dated 21.12.2015 (Annexure P3) passed by learned Central Administrative Tribunal, Chandigarh Bench, Chandigarh/respondent No.1.

Learned counsel for the parties are not at variance that during the pendency of the writ petition, both the petitioners had appeared in PE&MT and found to be disqualified.

A communication dated 11.08.2017 received from the Director General of Police, Union Territory, Chandigarh has been filed in Court today and the same is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. It has Yogesh Sharma 2017.12.07 12:09 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-27451-2015 been stated in the said communication that petitioner No.1-Rohit Dahiya was disqualified in long jump, whereas petitioner No.2-Komal did not qualify in race.

In view of above, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous and the same may be disposed of as such.
