(ORAL) The petitioner has filed this writ petition being aggrieved by rejection of its technical bid in the tender process issued by the respondentauthorities. Mr. Arjun Sheoran, learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, submits that the petitioner, in view of the provisions contained in Section 49 of the Punjab Transparency in Public Procurement Act, 2019, which provides for an appeal, can approach the appellate authority. And, in case any such appeal under Section 49 is filed, the authorities would consider and take a decision thereon within the period statutorily prescribed therein. Faced with this, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the writ petition so as to enable the petitioner to approach the appellate authority.

Prayer made is allowed.

The writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file an appeal.
