The present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to regularize the services of the petitioners, in terms of the policy instructions dated 18.01.1995, Annexure P-7, dated 23.01.2001, Annexure P-8, dated 15.12.2006, Annexure P-9 and dated 17.11.2011, Annexure P-12 respectively issued by the Government of Punjab. 2.

None had appeared on behalf of the petitioner on the last date of hearing. The position remains the same even today, despite the case having been called out twice.

It appears that the petitioners are not interested in pursuing the present petition.

Dismissed for non-prosecution.
