Present writ petition is for releasing the pensionary benefits to the petitioner. Petitioner retired from service long back, but the retiral benefits have not been released to him. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that in this regard, petitioner got issued legal notice dated 09.10.2017 (Annexure P8), but the same has also not been decided so far. Notice of motion.
On asking of the Court, Mrs. Anju Arora, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. A complete copy of paper-book be provided to her during the course of the day. In view of the controversy involved in the matter, present writ petition stands disposed of with directions to the respondents to look into legal notice dated 09.10.2017 (Annexure P8) and decide the same expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
