The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.2 and 3 to consider and decide the representation dated 12.01.2026 (Annexure P-1) and reminder dated 23.05.2026 (Annexure P-2), and further to register an FIR and take appropriate legal action against private respondents No.4 to 6. 2.

Learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied in case a direction be issued to respondent No.2 to look into the representation dated 12.01.2026 (Annexure P-1), within a time bound manner.

Without adverting to the merits of the case and in view of the statement made by learned Senior counsel for the petitioner, respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh, is directed to look into the representation dated 12.01.2026 (Annexure P-1) and decide the same expeditiously in accordance with law.
