Applicant-wife has filed the present application for seeking transfer of the petition under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, filed by respondent-husband, bearing No.HMA-98-2024, titled 'Kuldeep Singh vs. Priya Rani', pending in the Family Court, Sardulgarh, District Mansa and she seeks transfer of the same to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Moonak, District Sangrur.
In pursuance of the notice issued, the respondent made appearance through counsel.
At this stage, counsel for the respondent submits that he does not want to file reply and also, that the respondent has no objection, if the transfer application is accepted.

TA-819-2025 -2In view of the statement so made and also considering the contents of the transfer application, which reveals about two other cases, arising out from the estranged marriage, to be already pending in the Courts at Moonak, District Sangrur and the respondent has been proceeded against ex-parte, in the complaint under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, whereas, he is pursuing the petition under Section 144 of the BNSS and further, considering the distance between the two places, to be 100 kms. and the applicant having no source of earning, and more particularly, in view of the statement made by counsel for the respondent, the transfer application, as such, is hereby allowed and the petition under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, filed by respondenthusband, bearing No.
HMA-98-2024, titled 'Kuldeep Singh vs. Priya Rani', stands transferred from the Family (Camp) Court, Sardulgarh, District Mansa, to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Moonak, District Sangrur. The requisite record of the aforesaid case be sent by the Family (Camp) Court, Sardulgarh, District Mansa to the District and Sessions Judge, Sangrur.
Learned District and Sessions Judge, Sangrur shall assign the said petition to the Family (Camp) Court, Moonak. Even, the parties are directed to appear before the Family (Camp) Court, Moonak, within a period of one month from today onwards.
