In the present petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the benefit of ACP scheme on completion of 32 years of service of the petitioner, in view of the instructions dated 25.09.1998 (Annexure P-1), by ignoring his option for grant of benefit under instructions dated 03.11.2006 (Annexure P-2), as his case is fully covered by various judgments passed by this Court. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.2 to treat the present writ petition as representation and decide the same, in a time bound manner.
