The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 439 Cr.P.C for grant of bail pending trial in case FIR No.84 dated 05.12.2019 registered under Sections 302, 201, 420, 182 and 120-B of Indian Penal Code, 1860, at Police Station Harike, District Taran Taran, Punjab. 2.

Learned State counsel has submitted that out of total 27 prosecution witnesses, 07 witnesses have been examined. 3.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition for grant of bail and prays for withdrawal of the present petition. However, since the petitioner has been in custody for about 4 years, therefore, it is submitted the trial Court be directed to expedite the trial and prays for withdrawal of the present petition.
