G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) The petitioners seek a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to regularize their services w.e.f. the date of appointment in view of Government instructions dated 23.01.2001 (Annexure P-2) and 17.11.2011 (Annexure P-3).

It is the case of the petitioners that they are working from various dates from the period ranging between 1991 to 1998 as Baildars. The details have been mentioned in para nos. 2 to 6 of the writ petition regarding the places of service and the year from which they are working. It is further the case that the petitioners have served a legal notice dated 05.10.2016 (Annexure P-1) upon respondent no. 1 for the necessary relief but no action has been taken on the same. Counsel submits that he would be satisfied if the same is decided within a time bound frame. Notice of motion.

Keeping in view the limited relief sought, reply from the respondents is not required to be filed.

Keeping in view the above facts since the decision making is still to be completed, the present writ petition is disposed of with directions to respondent no. 1 to decide the above said legal notice dated 05.10.2016 (Annexure P-1) within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.
