Petitioner has filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant him pension. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner has served notice Annexure P-9, for redressal of his grievance but no action has been taken on the same so far. Accordingly, without adverting to the merits of the case, respondent No.2 is directed to dispose of the notice Annexure P-9 expeditiously in accordance with law, by passing a speaking order preferably within two months from the receipt of certified copy of this order.
