The present Civil Writ Petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction, particularly in the nature of mandamus, directing respondent Nos.1 to 3 to release the entire death-cum-service dues, terminal benefits and medical reimbursement bills of deceased employee Gurjit Singh in favour of the petitioner, being the legally recorded nominee and

dependent mother of the deceased employee, along with interest @ 18% per annum on account of the unjustified delay, despite service of Legal Notice dated 02.04.2026 (Annexure P-6); further seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned communication/letter dated 27.02.2026 issued by respondent No.2 to the extent it records the name of respondent No.4 in the HR Data of the respondent department. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at this stage submits that he would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondent No.2 to decide the legal notices dated 05.03.2026 (Annexure P-4) and 02.04.2026 (Annexure P-6) respectively, by passing a speaking order in a time bound manner.

On advance notice, Mr. Hunar Veer Sharma, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 and submits that they have no objection in case a direction is issued to the respondent No.2/competent authority to hear and decide the legal notices dated 05.03.2026 (Annexure P-4) and 02.04.2026 (Annexure P-6) respectively, by passing a speaking order in a time bound manner.

In view of the limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioner without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of and the respondent No.2/competent authority is directed to hear

and decide the legal notices dated 05.03.2026 (Annexure P-4) and 02.04.2026 (Annexure P-6) respectively, by passing a speaking order in a time bound manner, within a period of three months from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order. Further the decision taken thereof shall be conveyed to the petitioner.

Needless to say, if the petitioner is found entitled to the relief sought, the same be granted forthwith by respondent/competent authority. 6.

Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stands disposed of.
