It is submitted by the counsel for the respondent (mother) that the present appeal has become infructuous because the child in question has attained the age of majority as she was born on 16.7.1999. No one has put in appearance on behalf of the appellant. In view of the statement made by counsel for the respondent, the present appeal is hereby dismissed as infructuous.
