Prayer in this writ petition is for directing the respondents to notify and publish the names of nominated Councillors of Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh; besides consider the application filed by the petitioner seeking appointment as a nominated Councillor. As per Status Report dated 02.01.2023, nine (09) Councillors have been nominated. Notification dated 18.10.2022, Annexure R-1/1, has been issued.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that nomination is entirely de hors the law. He seeks to withdraw this writ petition with liberty SANJAY KHAN 2023.01.24 12:36 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document



     
to the petitioner to challenge the nomination of the said nine (09) Councillors in accordance with law.
