Pannu, Deputy Advocate General, Haryana. ***** MAHABIR SINGH SINDHU, J Present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus issuing directions to respondent No.1 to decide the mercy petition of the petitioner.

In pursuance of notice of motion issued in this petition, learned State counsel on instructions from the concerned quarter stated that the respondent No.1 has no objection in deciding the mercy petition of the petitioner within a time bound manner.

In view of the agreed stand taken by both the sides, this petition is disposed off with direction to respondent No.1 to consider and decide the petition (Annexure P-8) by passing a speaking order in accordance with law, on or before 16th March, 2021.
