**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J.(Oral) Petitioner seeks grant of regular bail in his third attempt under Section 439 Cr.P.C in case bearing FIR No.11 dated 20.05.2017 registered under Sections 15, 25, 29/61/85 of the NDPS Act at Police Station State Special Operation Cell, District Amritsar.

Earlier petitions bearing CRM-M No.1851 of 2018 and CRM-M No.36399 of 2020 were got dismissed as withdrawn on 15.03.2018 and 04.03.2021 respectively.

The recovery is of 300 kgs of poppy husk from the truck MOHMED ATIK 2021.12.15 18:06 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-42292-2021  which was being driven by the petitioner.

Learned State counsel on instructions from SI Ram Gopal submits that out of 10 prosecution witnesses, 7 witnesses have already been examined and now 16.12.2021 is the next date for examination of remaining witnesses before the trial Court.

In view of above, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial Court to make every endeavour to conclude the prosecution evidence either on the date fixed or soon thereafter. The trial Court shall also make endeavour to conclude the trial at the earliest preferably within a period of three months thereafter.
