It was thus prayed by the learned counsel for the petitioners that in view thereof, the present writ petition has become infructuous and be disposed of as such. However, liberty be granted to the petitioners to take recourse to the remedy of election petition.

Disposed of as infructuous. However, it shall be open to the petitioners to take recourse to the remedies available to them in accordance with law.
