RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK, J Feeling aggrieved against the alleged discriminatory action on the part of respondent authorities, petitioner has approached this court by way of instant writ petition, under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of Certiorari/Mandamus. Learned Senior counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, fairly states that although the petitioner is seeking only a writ in the nature of mandamus, yet because of inadvertence on his part, no proper representation could be filed before the competent authority before filing the present writ petition. He further submits that given an opportunity, the petitioner shall approach the competent authority by moving an appropriate representation within a period of three weeks from today and respondent no.3 may be directed to consider and decide the same, within a reasonable time.

Having heard learned Senior counsel for the petitioner and GREESH SAHNI 2015.03.03 15:45 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No.2774 of 2015 without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, lest it should prejudice the rights of either of the parties, Deputy Commissioner and President Indian Red Cross Society, District Branch, Red Cross Bhawan, Sector 12, Faridabad-respondent no.3 is directed that if the petitioner approaches him by moving an appropriate representation within a period of three weeks from today, he shall consider and decide the same by passing an appropriate order thereon, strictly in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of three months from the date of receipt of representation from the petitioner.
