(Oral) Petitioner has claimed the relief in the following manner:- "Civil Writ Petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to accept the application form alongwith all the certificates and supporting documents for HCS (Executive Branch) and other allied services main examination, 2017 (advertisement No.3/2018-19) within a week, in accordance with law.

AND/OR Any other order which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case may kindly be passed in favour of the petitioners."

CWP No.21307 of 2019 {2} Averments in paragraph 8 of writ petition reveal that petitioner could not submit the application form alongwith all certificates and supporting documents by 12.06.2019 as was not in the knowledge of notice having not published in the newspaper nor any separate letter was sent. He acquired the knowledge and approached department later on and in this regard, submitted a representation dated 08.07.2019 (Annexure P-5). The announcement/notice dated 12.06.2019 (Annexure P-4) reveals that candidates were required to submit their application form complete in all respects on or before 02.07.2019 by personal delivery against proper receipt or through registered post or speed post.

The petitioner, in my view, has missed the bus and therefore, cannot be granted the relief as sought, ibid. Writ petition is dismissed.
