* * * * S.J. VAZIFDAR, C.J. (ORAL) The petitioner merely seeks an order directing the respondents to respond to his communication dated 15.01.2017 (Annexure P-11).

The petitioner challenges an order dated 14.05.2013 cancelling the allotment in his favour under the scheduled caste quota instead of backward class quota. 2.

The impugned order was passed almost four and a half years ago.

The petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to respond to the petitioner's communication dated 15.01.2017 (Annexure P-11). It is clarified that we express no views whatsoever on the merits of the petitioner's contentions. The same including the fact that the order was passed on 14.05.2013 are kept open.
