This is a petition seeking quashing of FIR No. 397, dated 1st April, 2019, under Sections 148, 149, 323, 452 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Jagadhri City, District Yamuna Nagar, on the basis of compromise dated 5th November, 2019.
Notice was issued, Mr. Jitender Singh Chahal, learned counsel appearing for respondents No. 2 to 4 submits that terms and conditions of the compromise have not been adhered to by the PANKAJ BAWEJA 2021.01.11 15:02 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court, Chandigarh
CRM-M-37188-2020 petitioners. He opposes the quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise.
Mr. Inderjeet Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner, on the other hand, submits that petitioners have complied with the terms and conditions but the respondents have violated the compromise. However, he states that parties will make further efforts to sit together to resolve the issues. He does not press the quashing petition at this stage and seeks liberty to file afresh after the differences are resolved amicably.
The petition is dismissed as not pressed with liberty as prayed for.
