Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that they are living in a live-in relationship against the wishes of the parents of petitioner No.2 and on account of this act on their part, they are under threat of being eliminated at the hands of respondents No. 4 &

5. In view of the above, seeking protection, a representation dated 26.10.2020 (Annexure P-3) was made on behalf of the petitioners to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Bhatinda, but to no avail. In the above circumstances, the petitioners have approached this Court through the present petition.
